“Mermaid Magic” will arrive on Netflix worldwide on August 22.

Created and produced by Iginio Straffi, Mermaid Magic features Rich Burns and Nancy Cohen as screenwriters, already well-known on the world stage for working on hits such as “Spirit: Adventures in Freedom,” and showrunner Guy Bar’ely, already known for “The Minions” and “Kung Fu Panda,” among the many artistic talents who collaborated.
Mermaid Magic takes us to the depths of Mertropia to follow the adventures of the brave Princess Merlinda and her inseparable friends Sasha and Nerissa. The three warrior mermaids embark on an epic journey to the surface world to fight the evil pirate Barbarossa, intent on robbing the oceans of their magic. The series is a brilliant mix of magic, action, humor and emotions, shining a spotlight on crucial issues such as ocean conservation.
