Two days before Christmas, Anna Lou (Ekaterina Buscemi), a sixteen-year-old girl, disappears in the mountains of Avechot. Inspector Vogel (Toni Servillo), a famous policeman of those who often end up on TV, is on the site. There are no clues, no leads. It could seem like a simple escape from home. But Vogel manages to convince everyone that Anna Lou has been kidnapped and that this is not a disappearance like the others.
