After 25 years, the perfect family parts… The children fly from the nest to move to the city, leaving their parents, Carlo and Anna, finally alone. Within a few months they disappear and, caught up in their new life, limit their contacts with their parents to a few brief calls. They don’t show up at the funerals of old relatives, they don’t show up for any more birthdays, and as a last straw, they won’t spend Christmas together with their family to travel elsewhere. Angry and desperate, Carlo and Anna hence decide to lie by pretending that they have inherited 6 million euros from an old aunt.
